Stuart Dale Spikes, 26

Stuart Dale Spikes was reunited with his beloved son, Jeremy on March 13, 2013. Stuart was born in Lafayette on November 24, 1986, to Leo Spikes and Brenda Davenport Spikes. Stuart is survived by his parents; paternal grandmother, Helen L. Spikes, and maternal grandfather, Richard Bolyard; daughters, Olivia Marie (mother Allie Wilkins) and Alexandra Pruitt (mother Jodi Pruitt). Siblings, Misty Snapp (Tim), Wesley Sanders, and Evan Spikes (Kim). He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Scott Spikes; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Bolyard, and paternal grandfather, Leo F. Spikes.

Also surviving are uncles, Ronnie Davenport (Becky), Elroy Davenport (Missy) and aunts, Cindy Schweiger, Dolly Brown (Steve), Louise Darling and Catherine Peacock (Tom). Stuart is also survived by many cousins; and nieces and nephews.

Stuart was a registered member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, he was very proud of his Native American Heritage. He received his GED with honors. Stuart enjoyed bingo and cards with his mother. He also loved debating any subject with his dad and each always thought they won. He enjoyed watching and supporting the Indianapolis Colts. Stuart was a beautiful child and grew into a handsome young man with a smile that could light up a room. His laugh was contagious and made others around him laugh. Stuart will be missed by many. He had resided in Lafayette with Michelle Wooten.
