Emil Dulin Sr., 69, of Monon, died at 1:46 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital of Lafayette. He had been in poor health for the last year.
He was born April 19, 1943, in Ashland, Ohio, to the late Roscoe and Leatha (Dillon) Dulin.
His marriage was to Vivian Sue Kiser on February 23, 1961, in Knox. She preceded him in death on April 2, 2005.
Mr. Dulin worked for Monon Trailer for 29 years until his retirement upon the companies closing.
He was an accomplished Gunsmith for many years.
Emil enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Surviving are three children, Jennifer Philo and Emil Dulin Jr. both of Monon and Matthew Dulin of Yeoman; brothers, Noy Dulin, Ray Dulin, Roscoe Dulin (wife: Donna), Gary Dulin (wife: Darlene), Russell "Curt" Dulin and Harold Johnson (wife: Barb) and two sisters, Bonnie Richie (husband: Gordon) and Virgie Torrey. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his wife; parents, stepmother, Margaret Craft; daughter, Sandra Dulin; and sister, Virginia Grady.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Clapper Family Funeral Home of Monon. Private family services and interment to be held at a later date in Oak Park Cemetery of Knox.
