Mildred "Peg" (Dillon) Crouch, 77, of Lafayette, died at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital. Born June 25, 1936 in White County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Emma (Brehmer) Dillon. She was raised in White County and graduated from Wolcott High School. Peg worked in food services at Purdue University for over 20 years prior to retirement. She enjoyed reading and working cross-word puzzles.
Peg is survived by her daughter, Coleen M. Crouch of Lafayette, three sisters, Doris Goodman of Lafayette, Dema Simeri of South Bend, and Wilma Hayden of Florida, the father of her five grandchildren, Franshon Thomas of Lafayette. Peg's five grandchildren include Brittney Thomas, Meagan Thomas, Kyrsten Thomas, Franshon Thomas II, and Lexie Thomas. In addition, Peg is survived by her three great-grandchildren, Amari Rich, Kiya McMahan, and Kian Thomas. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Walthers and Waneta Laxton, one brother, Byron Dillon, and a great-great nephew, Jude Cotter.
