Jordon Scott Hicks

Jordan "Jordy" Scott Hicks, 20, of West Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 as the result of an automobile accident.

Jordan was born on August 29, 1992 in Lafayette, to the James Hicks Jr. and Jodie Davis Hicks.

He graduated from McCutcheon High School in 2010 and was working for Dow Agra Sciences as a Lab Technician at the time of his death.

Jordan's world revolved around his children and his family. He enjoyed playing guitar, video games, and working with computers.

Jordan is survived by dad, James (Laura) Hicks, Jr. of Lafayette; his mom, Jodie (Kevin O'Brien) Hicks of Lafayette; his fiancée, Brenna Crutchfield of West Lafayette; children, William "Liam" Hicks and Elizabeth "Ellie" Crutchfield; his brothers, Jimmy (Holly) Hicks of Otterbein, Josh (Melissa) Hicks of Delphi, and Justin (April Hawkins) Hicks of Lafayette; and a step sister, Amy McHale. Also surviving are his grandparents, Clark and Pat Howey; grandmother, Joyce Mitchell; nieces and nephews, Kyrstie, Brooklyn, Katie, Brilee, Harlee, Tessa, Aiden, Cyrus, and Leah. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives will never be the same without him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Louise Davis; his grandfather, James R. Hicks, Sr.; and great grandmother, Dorothy Christopher.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, August 26, at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jordan Hicks Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
