HARKERS ISLAND -- Stacy McVae Davis, 90, of Harkers Island died Feb. 23, 2014, at Heritage Health Care at Taylor Place.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Munden Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Boyd Sr. officiating. Graveside follows at Polly Ann Cemetery, Harkers Island.

He served in the U.S. Army and Coast Guard during World War II, was a commercial fisherman, crew leader at MCAS Cherry Point and worked with N.C. Ferry Division.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Anna Kay Davis; daughters, Becky Cummings of Beaufort, Sandra Gaskill of Harkers Island; sons, McVae Davis of Williston, Jeffrey Davis of Beaufort, Stacy Davis Jr. of Morehead City; brothers, Sonny Davis of Morehead City, Clark Davis of Harkers Island; sisters, Rebecca Willis, Leona Hall, Dare Guthrie, all of Harkers Island; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
