Wilbur "Bill" Donald Kuebler, 90, of Jacksonville, passed peacefully from this earth on Aug. 6, 2013, while at home with family.
He was born June 10, 1923, to parents, Henry C. Kuebler and Anna B. Hoffman Kuebler. His family, including older brother Henry Kuebler Jr. resided in Crestline, Ohio. While attending Crestline High School, Bill met the love of his life and future wife, Anna V. Batory Kuebler, with whom he would happily spend the next 63 years with. He was also a proud Army Air Force World War II veteran and spent time stationed in many locations state-side. Following his military service, Bill began his dedicated tenure with Armour and Co. as an award-winning butcher and salesman. After nearly four decades with the company, he retired and relocated to Jacksonville in 1986. In his retirement, he enjoyed golfing, gardening, and building beautiful mangers for nativity scenes. Bill began as a volunteer with the Onslow County Soup Kitchen in 2004, and gave his time generously to help those who were hungry. He lived strongly by the Word of God and never lost faith that he would see his beloved wife again one day. He was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Kuebler and brother.
He leaves behind three children, Patricia Padgett and husband Carl of Jacksonville, Roberta Carzoo and husband Lewis of Channahon, Ill., and Bill Kuebler and wife Linda of Berlin Center, Ohio.
