WATERLOO, S.C. - Gerald V. Hull, 78, died at home on Feb. 8, 2013, in the loving company of his family and a glorious sunset over Lake Greenwood.

Mr. Hull is survived by his wife of 57 years, Emma Jean Davenport Hull of Waterloo, S.C.; and his children, Catherine Hull Pollard of Surf City, Vickie Hull Vander Vere of Williamsport, Pa., and David Vincent Hull of Jacksonville. His grandchildren are Jenifer Rosser Mosley of Miami, Christopher Riggs Pollard of St. Augustine, Fla., Andrea Lankford of Richlands, Jon Hull of Charlottesville, Va., Carly Jean Hull and Alex Hull, both of Jacksonville. His great grandchildren are Emily and Haliegh Lankford of Richlands, Elizabeth Asher Pollard and Marycathryn Worth Pollard of St. Augustine, Fla.

The family will have a life celebration on June 15 in Topsail Beach. Family and friends are invited and details will follow at a later time. Please save the date.

The Hull family thanks everyone for their compassionate support. A special thanks to Lee and Sandra Pace of Ware Shoals for their long term commitment to our family. It is with gratitude that we honor and thank Hospice of South Carolina, especially our nurse Carol. Finally, with heartfelt thanks and appreciation we would like to acknowledge Self Regional Hospital and their dedicated staff. With a special recognition we would like to honor Mr. Hull's long term family physician Dr. Jed Graham and his dedicated staff Allison, Jennifer, and Renee.
