RICHLANDS | John William Barnett, 54, died July 9, 2014, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.Barnett served in the Marine Corps from Aug. 28, 1978, to Feb. 16, 1983.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra VanWickel Barnett; sons, John Curtis Barnett, Christopher Scott Barnett, both of Richlands; daughter, Amanda Dawn Barnett of Jacksonville; brothers, Thomas Barnett of Pine Hill, New Jersey, Michael Barnett of Pine Hill; sister, Kimberly Murphy of Pine Hill, New Jersey; and two grandchildren.
