JACKSONVILLE - Joseph Randolph "Randy" Reichler, 62, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Funeral services will be held at 10:45 a.m. Friday, March 1 at Brookwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. David Gasperson officiating. Burial with military honors, will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Randy was the Affairs Coordinator for 17 years at Camp Lejeune. He was the current Chairman of the Onslow County Council of Veterans Organizations, a Representative to the Secretary of the Navy Council in Washington, D.C.; a member and Past Commander of the DAV and a member of the FRA.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Gomez of the home; daughter, Mari Sublett of Jacksonville and one grandson, Donnie Sublett.
The family strongly suggests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the DAV, 300 Sherwood Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday night at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
