Burial services for Army Retired First Sergeant Woodrow Humphrey, 90, will be conducted on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. and at 3 p.m. the funeral service will be held to celebrate the beginning of Woodrow's glorious home going service.

Woodrow was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Gibson Humphrey, almost 14 years ago and grandgdaughter, Etta Nicole Humphrey in 1991.

Woodrow and Lula had four wonderful children, Jo Humphrey Brown, Woodrow "Jon" Humphrey, Beth Humphrey Davis, and Peggy Humphrey Gibson.

Then there are all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Woodrow Humphrey, Banister Humphrey, David Humphrey, Leonard Humphrey, Roy Humphrey, George Humphrey, and Mary Humphrey Mitchell, who were reared in the Northeast Community of Onslow County by their two parents, Leamon Lee Humphrey and Eva Jane Morton Humphrey. As all will attest, Leamon Lee Humphrey and Eva Humphrey themselves, as well as their family offspring, were upstanding citizens of Onslow County and they made great contributions to their community and Nation.

God Bless the Woodrow and Lula Humphrey Families.
