GREENVILLE -- Christopher ""Kevin"" Adams II, 40, passed peacefully Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Duke University Hospital.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30 in the Smith Funeral Chapel. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
Kevin, a native of Onslow County, served five years in the U.S. Army. He worked as a team member at Bridgestone in Wilson for 10 years and was a Star Wars enthusiast.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Grace Hewitt; uncle, Bradley Hewitt; and father-in-law, John Robert Edwards.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Belinda Edwards Adams; daughters, Kearie Dillahunt of Tucson, Ariz., Allaura and Alexia Adams, both of Sultan, Wash.; mother, Vivian Semas and husband, Curt of Moncks Corner, S.C.; father, Chris Adams and wife, Cheryl of Vero Beach, Fla.; brothers, Aaron Adams and Justin Duey; and a sister, Melanie Maye.
