Clarence Knopp Obituary
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at Burns Family Cemetery with the Rev. Sandy Bain officiating.
He was preceded in death by one son, Clarence Joseph Herbert Knopp.
Survivors include wife, Gertrude "Trudy" Knopp of the home; six daughters, Karen Joy Wrighington, Donna Lee Taylor, Janet May Welch, Joyce Adell Maxwell and Ruth-Ann Elizabeth Reed, all of Hubert and Ruth Elizabeth Courtney of Greensboro; son, Russell Irvin Knopp of Hubert; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro.

Dear Trudy and Family,
Please know that our hearts are heavy and we share in your grief! Bud was a special man whom we will always treasure as our friend. His warm hugs and radiant smiles will not be forgotten.
We are unable to be there in person but please know that our thoughts and spirit are right there with you.

Our deepest sympathies to the family. May God hold you all dear in your time of sorrow. Even though the pain is great now, eventually the pain will be replaced with lots of memories. We love you all.
