Jack William Eichelberger, age 44, died on April, 18, 2013, after a long battle with cancer.
He was a 22 year resident of Charlotte. Jack grew up in Jacksonville, where he attended White Oak High School. He then attended college and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Jack was a VP with Bank of America for almost two decades. Jack enjoyed boating on Lake Norman, fishing in the Caribbean, and was a huge Carolina Panthers and UNC Tarheels fan.
Jack is survived by his parents, Dwayne W. and Hatsue M. Eichelberger of Jacksonville. Jack's close friends are too numerous to name, but the family would like to give a special thanks to the following friends for their help and support throughout Jack's illness:
Brian Lang, Maggie Laskowski, Mike McCarty, Regina Helt, Tony Marsicano, Will Brummett, Wendi Garlow, and John Davis.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude's Childrens Hospital.
