Edward Everett Trivette Jr., of West Jefferson and Richmond, Va., died Feburary 6, 2014.He was 79.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward E. Trivette Sr. and Hazel Absher Trivette; and his brother, Dale F. Trivette.
Ed is survived by his wife Shirley Spain Trivette; son Edward P. Trivette (Nini); daughter Elizabeth E. Trivette; sister, Kate Trivette Huff (A. V.); nephew, Vernon E. Huff and son Ethan; nieces Mary W. Huff (Andrew), their sons Elliott and Christian; Heather Trivette Jordan (Ben), their daughter Lyla; and Hollie A. Trivette.
Ed worked for many years for Chicago Bridge and Iron (CBI). He supervised the building of water towers and oil storage tanks in the Northeast U.S., St. Croix, and in Saudi Arabia. He cherished his family and his many friends, from his high school buddies to all of the CBI friends he made through the years.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. at the West Jefferson United Methodist Church, in West Jefferson, on Saturday, March 29, 2014.
