Jennifer Rardin Obituary

ROBINSON - Jennifer D. Rardin, 45, of Robinson died at 10:59 a.m. on September 20, 2010. She was born April 28, 1965, the daughter of James Pringle and Carol Ryan-Pringle. Jennifer was a graduate of Casey High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Literature from Eastern Illinois University. She was an author and had penned eight books over the course of her writing. She was a Master Gardener and worked as a grant writer for the University of Illinois Extension Office. On December 28, 1986, she married Kirk Rardin, and he survives. Also surviving are her two children, Katie Rardin and Ben Rardin, both of Edwardsville; her mother, Carol Pringle of Casey; four brothers and sister-in-laws, Kirby and Cindy Pringle of Pesotum, IL, Kelly Pringle of Casey, Kevin Pringle of Casey, and Jim and Linda Hertel of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Erin Pringle and Jeremy Toungate of San Marcos, TX; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James Pringle. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Tom Buchanan and Ron Riggs presiding over services. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Memorials may be made to the Riley's Children's Hospital, with envelopes available at the funeral home. Memories may be shared at the Goodwine Funeral Home website at goodwinefuneralhomes.com.
