Saralea Chaloka Vicich Saralea Chaloka (Vicich) (nee Childers), age 87, of Lockport, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. She was born in Lewistown, Illinois, to the late Threll and Helen (nee Stegall) Childers. She was preceded in death by her husband, AlbertJ. Vicich; a son, PFC Albert L. Vicich; a daughter, Janet Vicich; a granddaughter, Brenda Gambosi; and a grandson, Jason Vicich. She is survived by her loving children, Susan (Art) Weese, Nancy (Glen) Myers, Carol (Ray) Colclasure, Ken (Kathy) Vicich, Jim (Susan) Vicich, John (Betty) Vicich and Vicki (John) Borst; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Pete (Karen) Childers; a sister, Marilyn (Roy) Hernandez; and her long time friend, Jack Lonergan. Maryellen Ciuffini Born: Dec. 11, 1935; in Joliet, IL Died: April 22, 2015; in Joliet, IL Maryellen Ciuffini (nee Stofan), age 79, at rest Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born December 11, 1935 in Joliet to the late John and Elizabeth (nee Mati) Stofan. An animal lover who enjoyed her cats. Survived by her children, Charles "Chuck" (Brenda), Ernest "Ernie" (Jackie), Rita M. Ciuffini and Jimi H. Cooley; grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of many; siblings, John (Laura) Stofan, George (Irene) Stofan and Betty Miner; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert "Bobby" Ciuffini; brother-in-law, Lucian Miner; and grandson, Charles A. Ciuffini. Funeral Services for Maryellen K. Ciuffini will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 9:00 a.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, to St. John Vianney Church, 401 Brassel Street, Lockport, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the Mass. Clemmons, Mark A.  
Mark A. Clemmons Mark A. Clemmons, age 51, of Channahon, passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer, Sunday, April 12th, 2015, at St. James Hospital with his wife, Donna by his side. He was born in Chicago, lived in several locations before settling in Channahon. Mark was an avid fan of all the Chicago sports teams. He enjoyed golfing and was particularly proud of his hole in one. His favorite hobbies were being a cheerleader for his children's sports teams, spending time with his family and playing Black Jack. Mark graduated from St. Rita High School in Chicago and was employed by Real Deal Desserts in Naperville. Preceded in death by his fathe,r Ralph; and sister-in-law, Susan Clemmons. Survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Donna nee Kotermanski His children, daughter, Ashley; and son, Nicholas; also survived by his motherm Barbara; siblings, Karen (Gary) Ulman, Ralph (Jeannine) Clemmons and Deborah (Jim) Weaver. Dearest Uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Per his family's wishes, cremation rites were accorded. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to Caryn or Craig Bridges to help defer the cost of medication for their daughter Faith. Faith and Uncle Mark had a special bond. Family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, April 26th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 8404 S. Cass Ave., Darien, IL 3:30 p.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 4:00 p.m.Interment was private. Norma Cochrane Norma (Ferrell) Cochrane Nee Fowler, age 90, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015, late of Plainfield, formerly of Frankfort. Survived by her loving children, Sherri (David) Engelman and Donald (Terrie) Ferrell; grandchildren, Heather (Tom) Groham, Megan (Sam) Edgin, Lissa, Gregory (Janessa), Brent (Cathy) Ferrell and William (Kimberly) Cochrane; great grandchildren, Olivia Joy, Chase, Jonathan, Allison and Mia. Connors, Marian A.  
Marian A. Connors Born: Jan. 16, 1926; in Joliet, IL Died: April 16, 2015; in Joliet, IL Marian A. Connors (nee Futterer), age 89, late of the Senior Star Community, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her family by her side. She was born January 16, 1926, to the late Louise (nee Schwartz) and Edward R. Futterer in Joliet, IL where she was raised and educated, attending St. John's Grade School and St. Francis Academy. Marian lived most of her life in Joliet, however, from 1974 - 2004 resided in Moline, IL where she volunteered at the local hospital and was active in many community groups. Beloved mother of Jeannette (Jim) DaRosa of Lockport, Sue (Dave) Raspolich of Channahon, Chris (Rick) Miller of Joliet and Maureen (Rich) Lenke of Mt. Prospect; 17 dear grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Nancy (James) Miranda of Orange Beach, AL; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou and Ruth Futterer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, William B. Connors (April 25, 2011); one son, William E. Connors; one sister, Dorothy (late Warren) Evans; two brothers, Edward and Richard "Dick" Futterer and her parents. Marian was an active resident of Senior Star at Weber Place where she was known for her wonderful singing and warm personality. She thoroughly enjoyed volunteering for various activities within her community. Another of her talents included sewing; an excellent seamstress, she lovingly created outfits for her family and friends. She was a fantastic baker and gracious hostess of many get togethers over the years. She and her late husband, William, enjoyed traveling throughout the world together. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family. In her younger years, Marian was active with the school board and the Mother's Club at the Cathedral of St. Raymond. Marian shared her kind, caring soul with all and will be remembered fondly for her positive outlook on everything in life. Her courage and love of life will be a lasting example to all who knew her. Her family is most grateful to the staff of Senior Star, Presence St. Joseph Medical Center and Joliet Area Community Hospice for their loving care shown to Marian throughout the latter stage of her life. Funeral Services for Marian Connors will be held Monday, April 20, 2015, 11:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon. Interment and committal prayers Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL where all are asked to gather (at the information center) at 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Marshall G. Converse Born: Feb. 22, 1925 Died: April 14, 2015 Marshall Glen Converse, age 90, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born on February 22, 1925, in Joliet and a lifelong resident. Marshall was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He served during World War II, 1943 to 1945. Survived by his loving wife of seventy two years, Elva T. (nee Ladendorf); and one son, Glen Converse. Services will be held private. Corcoran, Robert J.  
Robert J. Corcoran Robert J. "Bob" Corcoran, age 45, of Elwood, passed suddenly on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Bob was born and raised in Joliet. He graduated from St. Raymond's Catholic Grade School, Joliet Catholic High, and the University of St. Francis. Bob married the love of his life, Kristina Facchina, in 1997. They have two sons, Zachary and Gavin, whom Bob was extremely proud of. Bob loved fishing and was an avid hunter, a sport he enjoyed sharing with his sons. He loved spending time with his family, and left them with numerous stories and memories. Bob enjoyed his yearly fishing trips to Canada, family vacations to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and attending his sons' sports activities. Bob was a member of the Elwood Sportsman Club for which he organized the annual children's fishing derby. Bob loved life. If you met him, you remember him - his quick wit, his smile, his generosity. He embraced life and enjoyed making people laugh. Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Kristina; his adored sons, Zachary and Gavin; his parents, John and Joanne Corcoran (Joliet); sister, Carol (Andy) Gnehm (East Peoria);brother and sister-in-law, Gina and Matt Mantia; nephews, Mitch Gnehm and Gage Mantia; nieces, Gillian Mantia and Sondra Gnehm; and in-laws, Ken and Sue Facchina (Elwood); as well as many, many friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated. Funeral Services for Robert will begin on Monday, April 20, 2015, with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:00 a.m., then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manhattan (255 W.
