James P. Frattini

Frattini, James P. "Jim" Age 71, late of Lockport, passed peacefully Saturday, February 9, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Joliet, lifelong Joliet and Lockport area resident. James was a member of the Laborers Local #75 since 1968, where he was the President from 1994 until his retirement in 2003. U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Germany. Member of St. Joseph Church, Lockport. Preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mary (Cerovac) Frattini and one beloved nephew, John Frattini. Survived by one devoted son, James L. Frattini; his partner and love of his life, Sandra Young; three loving grandchildren, Nic, Sam and Jon Frattini; three siblings, John (Terry) Frattini, Linda (John) Morrison and Christine (Dan) Moses. Also surviving are Sandra's children, James (Julie), Gerald, John (Anna), Joel (Ami) Young and Sandra's grandchildren, whom he cherished as his own, Sara, Lauren, Bailey, Ali, Jon Michael, Abi and Tori. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and many dear friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Church, Lockport to purchase a memory brick in Jim's name would be appreciated. Services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 am in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St., to St. Joseph Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am with Fr. Mark Fracaro officiating. Interment PRIVATE. Visitation, Tuesday at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
