Patrick O'Reilly Sr.

O'Reilly Sr., Patrick Age 53, of Custer Park, IL passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at his home with his family by his side, due to injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident that occurred on September 24, 2012. Born January 6, 1959 in Joliet, IL. Member of the Teamsters Local #179 in Joliet, Masonic Lodge #208 A.F. & A.M. in Wilmington, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #241 in Wilmington, and the VFW Post #5422 in Wilmington. He is a former Shriner. Patrick retired from Pipefitters Local #597 in Chicago, IL. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He was very family oriented and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Surviving are two sons, Patrick O'Reilly, Jr. of Custer Park and Josh O'Reilly of Braidwood, IL; three daughters, Katie O'Reilly of Arkdale, WI, Shelby O'Reilly of Coal City, IL, and Korrie Webb of Adams, WI; eleven grandchildren; his mother, Eileen O'Reilly of Custer Park; maternal grandmother, Ruby (the late Floyd) Johnson of Elroy, WI; two sisters, Julie (Steve) Carroll of Charlestown, RI and Maureen Mixner of Wilmington; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and numerous friends. Preceding him in death were his father, James E. O'Reilly; and his fiancé, Laura Flynn. Funeral services will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel, Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Chris Beamsley will officiate. Visitation will also be Wednesday, October 24 from 3:00-7:30 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family to deposit in a trust fund for Patrick's youngest daughter, Shelby O'Reilly. Please sign online guestbook at
