Richard Elvin Hosbach Obituary
Hosbach, Richard Elvin 82, passed away November 25, 2013 joining his beloved wife, Jacquie. Born in Englewood, New Jersey, to Elvin Charles and Kathryn Hosbach, he was raised in Lockport, IL, graduated from Lockport Township High School, attended North Central College and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. His lifelong interest in horticulture led to his establishing greenhouses, the most recent being R.J.'s on Renwick Rd. Lockport, IL. Rich was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed traveling. Predeceased by his wife, parents and a granddaughter, Melissa Hosbach. He is survived by children, Keith (Wendy) Hosbach, Channahon, Kimberly (Dan) Petrek, Joliet; stepchildren, Joy Jungles Huachuca City, AZ, Sue (Alvin) Green, Lockport, Tim (Lisa) Jungles, Jackson MS; grandchildren; his sister, Lorena Zack of Rochelle and his beloved dog, Maggie. Upon Richard's request, his ashes will reside with his wife Jacquie in the North Carolina Mountains.
