William Hagarbome Obituary

William W. Hagarbome, I

Born: May 19, 1938; in Palatine Bridge, NY

Died: Feb. 3, 2015; in New Lenox, IL

William (Bill) Hagarbome, I died peacefully at Silver Cross Hospital with his Wife, Patti at his side.

Bill was born in Palatine Bridge, New York to Rueben and Inez (Bouck) Hagarbome. Along with his Mom and Dad, he'll be reunited with three of his Sisters, Audrey, Marian and Gertrude and Mother-In-Law, Mildred (Nonie) Lapikas.

Those remaining who will miss him are his Wife of 28 years, Patricia (Lapikas), three Sons, William II (Cheryl), Scott (Donna) and Brad Lee; Step-Daughter, Tracy (Eric) Nash; four Sisters, Melissa (Albert, Deceased) Nalli, Betty (William, Deceased) Harden, Inez (Ron) Davenport and Carolee (Jerry) Hall; Brother-In-Law, Dennis (Peggy) Lapikas, six Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren and numerous Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Bill was an avid Nascar and Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed woodworking, gardening and cooking. He had always wanted to drive a truck, and that he did for 35 years. He was a proud member of Teamsters Locals 179, 705 and 710.

As per Bill's wishes, he has been cremated with no visitation, but he did want a party. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.

Patti and Bill's Family want to give a heartfelt Thank You to the wonderful Nursing Staff at Silver Cross who gave him such phenomenal care and concern!

Memorials in Bill's name would be greatly appreciated to Vitas Hospice Care, 2900 Silver Cross Blvd., Suite 225, New Lenox, IL 60451

Patty, my Condolences on your loss. Rich Kurtz Apache Junction, Arizona

February 15, 2015

I was always happy that my dear friend, Patti, had a wonderful husband who provided many things for her. Some of which included many of his culinary creations, which I had the pleasure of enjoying occasionally! We also had conversations about food, as I like to cook also. He and I would also talk about gardening. He made Patti feel safe and secure, which made me happy for her. He will be missed. Rest in peace Bill , till we all meet you again. Love, Judi
