Thomas Knepper Obituary

Thomas Knepper

Thomas Knepper, age 68, formerly of Chicago, died suddenly on Sunday, August 10, as a result of an accident while in Manhattan, visiting family and friends.

He is survived by a step-son Greg (Judy) Bogdanski of Downers Grove and a step-granddaughter Sharon (Rafael) Mercado and numerous other step-grandchildren. A cherished, beloved confidant and friend Bonnie Gresser also survives along with her son Matthew Gresser and his fianc Amy Eberhard.

Preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Rose Tulik Knepper.

Tom served his country with the US Army in Vietnam. He was a kind soul and will be sorely missed.

Memorial service for Thomas Knepper will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, August 21, at Forsythe Funeral Home, Manhattan. Committal service with military honors will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. The family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
