Carol Fay Kreider, 53, of Albuquerque, N.M., went to be with the Lord Feb. 4, 2014. A Celelbration of Life ceremony will be held at Zion Congregational Church at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
Carol was born to Clarence and Isabell Amen Oct. 3, 1960, in Sterling. Carol graduated from Merino High School in 1979 and went on to become a successful saleswoman, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Carol loved helping others, ministering and sharing her testimony.
She is survived by her mother, Isabell Amen of Sterling; husband, Abe Kreider of Albuquerque, N.M.; son, Erik County and expectant wife Laura of Houston, Texas; daughter, Natasha Kreider of Albuquerque; and step-daughter, Heather Hull and husband Chad and their two sons, Jakob and Collin of Jamestown, Tenn. She is also survived by one brother and three sisters, Kayle Amen of Borrego Springs, Calif., Dale Amen of Arriba, Paula Albrandt of Merino, Brenda Lauer of Atwood, and their spouses and children.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Amen.
