Pamela Kay Gardner, 60, longtime area resident, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at the Rose Medical Center in Denver. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brush. There will be a luncheon at the church following the memorial service. Inurnment will follow the luncheon at 2:30 p.m. at the Yuma Cemetery in Yuma. |
She was born April 18, 1952, in Sterling, to Walter and Bernice (Klein) Kahrs.
She was married to Terrill Gardner and they had three sons. They later divorced.
Pamela was an active member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brush. She was on the church council and sang in the church choir. She had also previously been a member of the Morgan County Chorale. Pamela enjoyed singing, reading and was dedicated to her work as a registered nurse.
Survivors include her three sons, Andrew Gardner and wife Laura of Fruita, Matthew Gardner of Brush, and Daniel Gardner of Omaha, Neb.; three sisters, Cynthia Kahrs of Wheatland, Wyo., Becky Kahrs, and Deborah Kahrs, of Otis; two brothers, Calvin Kahrs of Otis and Jeffrey Kahrs and wife Annette and family, also of Otis; and two grandchildren, Rebecca and Ethan Gardner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Timothy and Kevin.
