Richard Earl Moore, 49, of Sterling, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Tennant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wendy Kalan officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Prairie View Cemetery, Stoneham.
Rich was born on July 16, 1963, in Sterling to Leon Earl and Lila (Christensen) Moore. He attended Sterling High School where he excelled in auto mechanics.
Rich was an ASE certified master technician and was employed at Bill's Motor Co. for more than 15 years. He also worked at Ryan's Engine Exchange in Wheat Ridge.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and most of all riding his bike "The Blue Dragon." His presence put the "brother" in brotherhood and he will be sadly missed by all.
Rich is survived by his mother, Lila of Sterling; brother, Mike and wife Susan of Westminster; niece, Christa Moore of Sterling; nephew, Dillon Moore of Westminster; aunts, uncles and many friends. He is greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leon; and brother, Mark.
Memorials can be made to the Richard Moore Memorial Fund in care of Tennant Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1547, Sterling, CO 80751.
