Beth I. Freeburg Obituary
Beth I. Freeburg, 75, passed into the arms of Jesus Christ her Savior, whom she loved so much, on April 16, 2013 in Greeley. Viewing will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home in Sterling, with family will be present from 4 to 6 p.m. There will be a memorial and celebration of life at the Berean Church of Sterling at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21.

She was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Palisade, Neb., to Ted and Erma (Miley) Schreiber. Beth graduated from Wauneta High School in 1955 and attended Rockmont College (now Colorado Christian University) until the illness and untimely death of her mother.

She married Pat W. Freeburg on June 16, 1957 in Hamlet, Neb. After living in Longmont for three years they moved to Sterling in 1960.

Beth loved her life in Sterling and spent over 30 years working first for Garretson's Sport Center and later for Clark Scriven, DDS. She enjoyed meeting people from every walk of life and treated everyone like an old friend.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Pat Freeburg of Sterling; son, John Freeburg and wife Marcy of Rye; and daughter, Becky Brotherton and husband Gary of Greeley.

Deserving special mention because they were the lights of her life, Beth leaves behind five grandchildren, Laura Sigmon and husband Scott of Richmond, Va., Robert Brotherton and wife Beth of Fort Collins, Casey, Caleb, and Kyle Freeburg of Rye; and one great-grandson, Everett of Richmond, Va.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Erma; a brother, Lyle E. Schrieber; a son, Paul; and her sister, Carol F. Wolcott.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 84, Sterling, CO 80751 "so that they may hear and believe."
