Della "Babe"?M. Bell Warren, 96, of Sterling, passed away July 21, 2013, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with Vigil Service and Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with the Rev. Wojciech Gierasimcyzk officating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.

Della was born Dec. 5, 1916, in Sterling to Joseph Walter and Della Jane (Cochran) Bell. She was born one block from St. Anthony Catholic Church. The family home was on the now-parking lot of St. Anthony. She later moved one block from St. Anthony on Park Street.

She was a bookkeeper and co-owner of the family business, Warren Oil Company.

On Aug. 3, 1941, Della married Clinton L. Warren in Sidney, Neb.

She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary.

Della liked show cars, hot rods and going to car shows. She enjoyed reading, adored the Broncos and Rockies, and loved dogs, especially her golden retriever, "Hunter."

Della is survived by her son, James W. Warren and wife Sandra W. of Corona Del Mar, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Hugh and Jill Aikin, Dick and Joan Wilder, Richard and Corrine Romero, Don and Dorothy Albrandt, Carol QUint, Mayme Flynn, Carol Fowler, Helen Bendixen, Virginia Ramey Watson, Jane and Dave Otzenberger, Ruth and Richard Mounts and Ray and Georgia Kelsch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clinton L. Warren in 1990; sisters, Rose Dersham, Ellen Bell, Alice Scofield, Mary Boyce; brothers, Les Bell, Frank Bell and Joe Bell.

Memorials may be made to the aerobics program at the Heritage Center.
