The last 16 years he worked for Great American Insurance Company, as an adjuster and supervisor
David was a strong student of the Word and approached faith from a pragmatic stance. He pastored the Methodist Church in Carpenter, Wyo., for almost 10 years. He enjoyed filling the pulpit for numerous churches in the area.
David enjoyed working and tried to retire once but couldn't stand it so he continued to work, and work was his hobby. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother, Claude, and his dad in his younger years. He also loved his horse, ranching, and working with cattle.
David is survived by his wife, Deanna; his children, Dirk Ross (Kyoko) of Tokyo, Japan, Denise Brammer (K.C.) of Haxtun, Danelle Mertens (Jim) of New Raymer, DeVonne Glastetter (Ray) of Jackson, Mo.; sisters, Mary Jo Ruhter (Jack) of Cheyenne, Wyo., Jane Aikin (Don) of Las Vegas, Nev., Millie Westphalen (Vernon) of Peetz; brother, Claude Ross (Elizabeth); and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Ross of Sterling; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
