Pauline "Shorty" Bell, 54, of Vernon passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on Jan. 12, 2013, with her family by her side.
Born in Hartford to Paul Bell and the late Dolly Pollicito of Plainville, she is survived by her twin brother, Michael and his wife, Sharon, of Austin, Texas; brother James and his wife, Gale, of Stafford Springs; and brother Joseph of Vernon. She also leaves behind two loving daughters, Kerri and Katie White of New London; and two granddaughters, Venecia and Isabella; along with many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her lifelong companion, Thomas Isch.
A gathering will be held for all family and friends at the Maple Grove in Vernon on Thursday, January 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monetary donations will be accepted.

our thoughts and prayers are with the family.. she was a very loving, giving .. and caring lady. she will be soley missed by many. we are so sorry we just found out.. since we live out of state. Rich, Carol and myself... we all loved her and she will always be in our hearts.

I am so sorry to hear of Paulines untimely passing. I hold nothing but great memories of all the wonderful times we shared. She was a great jokester who had a wonderful zest for life. She kept me laughing and that was no easy task.

I am so sad to hear of this very untimely passing of Pauline. *Shorty*. I've know since I was 13 yrs. old. So many funny things, so many good times. Your family was "ours". My most heartfelt condolences to the Bell & White familys.
I hope that Pauline is back with Tommy & happy again. LOVE FOREVER.
