Dr. Leslie A. Eldon, 65, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital, after a well-fought battle against ovarian cancer.
Formerly a resident of Fort Myers, Fla., she was a chiropractor for 22 years. Her many talents included raising orchids, hand-painting furniture, knitting, baking, and wine making. In addition, she enjoyed a lifelong passion for reading.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Lara Eaton, son-in-law, Patrick, and her beloved granddaughters, Emily and Grace. She will also be remembered by her siblings, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Leslie's life will be held at Wapping Community Church on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m. There will be a reception immediately following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Francis Foundation in her memory, specifically indicating the cancer center as the recipient:
