Joan Marie (Duffy) Munro, 84, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of Jack Munro for 61 years, entered into eternal peace Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at St. Francis hospital in Hartford.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Jayne Munro, and a sister, Virginia Lowney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at St. Mary Church, 42 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Please meet at the church. Committal will be private.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Jack, Jackie and Joleen, as you mourn the loss of dear Joan, I know what a huge part she played in your lives, and how proud she was of her family. She was a true friend to many of us in Naples. I shared many happy times with her at exercise, the pool, many dinners and evenings at the theatre. I will always treasure her friendship.
My deepest sympathy to you Jack and all the family. Love Joan Moher
