Theresa B. (Kleczkowski) Edwards, 83, of Enfield, beloved wife of 60 years to John E. Edwards, joined the Lord on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Evergreen Healthcare Center, Stafford.
Born in Hartford on Dec. 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Knobelzdorf) Kleczkowski. Raised in Rockville, she had lived there for many years before moving to Enfield in 1972. She was employed by Hallmark Cards in Enfield when she finally retired in 1993 after 19 years of loyal association. After her retirement she returned to work and was employed by Edwards/Shaw's Grocery where she worked in the bakery. Theresa was a longtime communicant of St. Martha Church in Enfield and was a member of the auxiliary of the John Maciolek Post 154 American Legion.
She leaves her children, John Edwards, and his wife, Susan, of Ellington, Susan Dunn, and her husband, Kevin, of Corona, Calif., Deborah Edwards of Agawam, Mass., Laure Moran, and her husband, Kenneth, of East Longmeadow, Mass., and Keith Edwards, and his wife, Laura, of Pittsburg, Pa.; a sister, Frances Orozlon; and nine adoring and loving grandchildren, Scott Herzog, Melissa Cirelli, Heather Edwards, Mona Gearin, Joshua Edwards, Brett and Caitlyn Edwards, and Gabriel and Sivahan Moran; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Theresa's family will receive relatives and friends at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, on Friday May 2, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a funeral procession at 11:30 a.m. to St. Martha Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon. Burial will follow in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your Loved Mother and Sister to Frances.
I grew up with them in Rockville so many, many years ago. They were always wonderful neighbors.
