Joseph Restucci Obituary

Joseph J. Restucci of Enfield passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012.

He was born on Oct. 18, 1932, the son of the late Salvatore and Maria Miano Restucci of Hartford. He served in the U.S. Army 7830 Signal Service Company from March 1953 to February 1955. He was stationed at Turenne Kaserne, in Zweibrucken, Germany. He graduated from Porter School of Machine Tool Design. He worked as draftsman for over 50 years. Joe was an avid Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics fan and a devout Catholic.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen. He is survived by his son, John restucci; daughter, Maria Leonard and her husband, Cliff; and his granddaughter, Samantha. He is also survived by his brother Sebastian anthony Restucci of Manchester; his nephews, Hon. James A. Restucci of Sunnyside, Wash., and Michael S. Restucci of Cromwell.

A Mass will be held at Saint Bernard Church of Enfield, 426 Hazardville Ave., Enfield, Saturday, on Feb. 23, at 10 a.m.

Donations may be made to the Enfield Senior Center, 299 Elm St., Enfield.

The Browne Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
