Vallett, Lucille  
Lucille Vallett, age 84, beloved wife for 30 years of the late Harold Vallett, passed away on May 19, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 11, 1931, in Biddeford, Maine, to Edward and Lily (Tardif) Beaudoin. She graduated from Biddeford High school moving to Connecticut in 1953. She resided in Manchester, and Naples, Florida. Mrs. Vallett was employed by Purdy Corp. and retired after 21 years. She was a member of St. Rose Church in East Hartford and St. William church in Naples, and was an active member of the Seastars and other charitable organizations. She was a loving mother devoted to her family. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crafting, quilting, and knitting. She will be most remembered for the many prayer shawls she made for the church and her memere' kisses. Lucille will be dearly missed by her son, David Perreault and his wife, Judith; her daughters, Jacqueline McGann, Diane Perreault, Susan Legassie and her husband, Dana; her brother, Charles Beaudoin; her, stepson Richard Vallett, stepdaughters, Lynn Vallett, Joelle Spencer; her grandchildren. Erica, James, Meggan, Shaun, Dana, Taylor, Katrina, Shannon and Sherry; 10 great-grandchildren; nephew, Dan and nieces, Julie, Susan, Jennifer and Nancy. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 26, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford. Funeral service will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose Church, 33 Church St., East Hartford at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lucille's memory may be made to MasoniCare Hospice and Smiletrain.
