Weiss, Elli M.  
Elli M. Weiss, 91, of Manchester, passed away peacefully Dec. 16, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Elli M. Wieland in Dippmansdorf, Germany. She is predeceased by her loving husband, John Weiss. She is survived by her son, Hans J. Weiss; granddaughter Katherine M Barkasy and her husband, Joel Barkasy; and two great-grandchildren Zephyr and Anora. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manchester. She loved to bake and cook and enjoyed the company of her friends and family. Like her husband, she too loved watching wrestling and there was nothing a shot of jager or her homemade schnapps couldn't cure. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she will be missed very much. Burial will be Tuesday, Dec 30, at 1 p.m. in East Cemetery, Manchester.

Wilson, John  
John Wilson, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Dec. 17, 2014, at the age of 85. He leaves his beloved wife of 62 years, Dorothy E. Wilson; his daughters, Ellen Wilson of Boston, Massachusetts; and Tracy Stoner of Tampa, Florida; son-in-law, Kim Stoner; grandchildren, Alex and Zach Stoner and Caroline Weber; and his sister, Dianne Wilson of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. A lifelong resident of Ellington, John spent his engineering career working on projects such as the Turbo-Train, the Lunar Excursion Module for NASA's Apollo Missions, and the Blackhawk Helicopter for Sikorsky Aircraft. In his free time he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed watching the UConn women's basketball games. He also loved traveling the world with his wife, Dorothy. He was a member of the FreeMasons, Lodge 65 of Manitowoc, and Lodge 9, R.A.M. of North Windham. He recently moved to Tampa to be closer to his family. A private memorial service will be held for the family.

Wilson, Margaret Gail  
Margaret Gail Wilson, 76, of Rockville, beloved wife of the late Donald Gene Wilson, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014. She was born Sept. 6, 1938, in Rockville, the daughter of the late Martha Marley. All of her kid's friends came to call her "Mom." She is survived by her sons, Timothy Wilson and his fiancée, Joanne Toney, and Theodore "Ted" Wilson. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Gary Rankin. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, CT 06066. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 25 St. Bernard Terrace, Rockville, CT 06066. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville.
