Directions
To Holmes Funeral Home:
From Hartford and all points west – Take I-84 East.
From New Haven and all points south – Take I-91 North to I-84 East.
From New York City, New Jersey, etc. – Take I-95 North to I-91 North to I-84 East.
I-84 East to I-384 East, Exit #3 (Manchester, Glastonbury, Route 83). At end of the ramp, bear to right onto Route 83 North (Main Street). Follow for 1 mile through downtown Manchester, cross over Route 6 (East Center Street) at large intersection (go straight through intersection), and down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, take the first left onto Bigelow Street and continue to the funeral home. Parking is available in the rear of the building.

From Tolland/Sturbridge, Massachusetts, and points northeast – I-84 West - Take Exit #63 (Manchester, South Windsor, Routes 30 and 83). At end of the ramp, bear right onto Route 30 East (Deming Street). Follow to the second light and take a right onto Route 83 South (Oakland Street). Follow to the second light and take a right (North Main Street, still Route 83 - Mazda Dealership on the right). Continue to the next light and take a left (still Route 83 South, Main Street). Proceed through 3 lights and take the second right onto Bigelow Street, and continue to the funeral home. Parking is available in the rear of the building. (If you reach the intersection of Route 83 and Route 6, you've gone too far...approximately 2.5 miles from I-84).
From Enfield and points north – Travel I-91 south to I-291 East (Manchester, South Windsor) to I-384. (Travelers coming from north of Springfield, MA make sure not to take I-291 belt in Springfield. Wait until you are in Connecticut before taking I-291.) Travel I-384 to Exit #3 (Manchester, Glastonbury, Route 83). At end of the ramp, bear to right onto Route 83 North (Main Street). Follow for 1 mile through downtown Manchester, cross over Route 6 (East Center Street) at large intersection (go straight through intersection), and down the hill. From Willimantic; Providence, Rhode Island; and points east – Travel Route 6 West or Route 44 West to I-384 West. Continue on I-384 to Exit #3 (Downtown Manchester). At the end of the ramp, take left onto Charter Oak Street. At the first light (Route 83/Main Street), turn right onto Route 83 North. Follow for 1 mile through downtown Manchester, cross over Route 6 (East Center Street) at large intersection (go straight through intersection), and down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, take the first left onto Bigelow Street and continue to the funeral home. Parking is available in the rear of the building. (If you reach the Manchester Memorial Hospital sign, you've gone too far...approximately 1.25 miles from I-384).
From CT Route 2 (Southeast CT) – Travel Route 2 West to Exit 10 (Route 83/Glastonbury/Manchester). Exit and turn right at the end of the ramp onto Route 83 North. Proceed on Route 83 approximately 5 miles into downtown Manchester. Continue through downtown approximately 1 mile to intersection of Routes 83 and 6. Proceed straight, down the hill, to Bigelow Street. Turn left onto Bigelow Street and continue to the funeral home. Parking is available in the rear of the building. (If you reach the Manchester Memorial Hospital sign, you've gone too far...approximately 1.25 miles from I-384).

Turn right onto East Center Street and proceed 3 blocks to the funeral home, located on the right side of the street at the corner of East Center and Spruce streets. Turn left onto East Center Street and continue three blocks to the funeral home, located on the right side of the street at the corner of East Center and Spruce streets.(Approximately 3 miles from I-84)
From Enfield and points north – Travel south on I-91 to I-291. (Travelers coming from north of Springfield, make sure not to take I-291 in Springfield. Wait until you are in Connecticut before taking I-291.) Exit east onto I-291 (toward Manchester/South Windsor) to I-384. Exit east onto I-384 and proceed to Exit 3 (Manchester/Glastonbury/Route 83). From Connecticut Route 2 (Southeast CT) – Travel Route 2 West to Exit 10 (Route 83, Glastonbury, Manchester). Exit and turn right at the end of the ramp onto Route 83 North. Proceed on Route 83 North approximately 5 miles into downtown Manchester. Follow through downtown 1 miles to the intersection of Routes 83 and 6 (East Center Street). Turn right onto Route 6 East and continue three blocks to the funeral home, located on the right side of the street.
