Anna Rose "Ann" Sullivan

Anna Rose "Ann" Sullivan, 91, of Manchester, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012.

Born in Glastonbury, Oct. 18, 1921, she lived a full and happy life including 52 years with her late husband, Philip J. Sullivan.

Anna was predeceased by her son, Philip J. Sullivan Jr. She is survived by three children, Thomas Sullivan, and his wife, Sue, of Centerville, Va., Robert Sullivan, and his wife, Mary, of Bolton, and Patricia Ardery, and her husband, Fred, of West Suffield; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Our family's heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude goes to Comfort Keepers caregivers, Lynn, Merle, and Johnny, and the staff at the Suffield House who provided gentle loving care, dignity, and outstanding closure for Anna especially in her last few days of life.

Calling hours will be held 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, on Monday Oct. 29, 2012, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church, 896 Main St., Manchester, at 10:30 am.
