Deborah E. (Perry) Firestine

Deborah E. (Perry) Firestine, 65, of Suffield, wife of the late Scott Firestine, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital.

Deborah was born Dec. 10, 1948, in Camden, Maine, the daughter of the late Edmund D. and Barbara (Bowden) Perry. She retired from Hallmark Cards in Enfield after several years. She enjoyed doing puzzles of all kinds and relaxing reading a good book.

She is survived by three sons, Richard Perry, and his wife, Elizabeth, of Suffield, Stephan Perry, and his wife, Vivian, of Burnt Hills, N.Y., and George Carlson, and his wife, Megan, of New Bern, N.C.; three grandchildren, Thomas, Alex, and Hannah Perry. Deborah is also survived by three brothers, Bruce B. Perry of Bradford, Maine, Russell E. Perry from Winterport, Maine, and Donald L. Perry of Zion, Ill.; her sisters, Pam G. Boody of Veazie, Maine, Cynthia Backiel of Appleton, Maine.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Sunday, March 9, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, March 10, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery in Windsor Locks.
