Dorothy M. (Blinn) Papa

Dorothy M. (Blinn) Papa, 89, of Vernon, beloved wife of the late Curino Papa, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014.

She was born May 11, 1925, in Rockville. She was the daughter of the late Philip and Pauline (Bowers) Blinn.

She is survived by her loving children: her son Paul Papa; two daughters Linda (Papa) Caldwell and her husband, Jim, and Judy (Papa) Pike and her companion, James Peter. She is also survived by five beloved grandchildren, Danielle (Papa) Hammond, Timothy Pike, Tammy (Pike) McManaway, Paul Papa II, and Tom Pike; and seven great-grandchildren who were dear to her heart. She leaves a brother Gary Blinn; and was predeceased by a brother Philip Blinn. She is also survived by a son-in-law George Pike and his wife, Jayne.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm St., Rockville.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Ellington Center Cemetery, Ellington.
