Edna B. Clark

Edna B. Clark, 92, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late James Clark, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at a local hospital with her family by her side.

Born in Glastonbury, the daughter of the late Francis and Amelia (Berth) Bantley, she lived in Ellington and Spencer, Mass. many years before moving to Enfield. Edna was a wonderful wife and mother and enjoyed her life to the fullest. She enjoyed watching the girls UConn basketball games and relived her younger days of playing basketball through them.

She leaves her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Judith Stomberg of Ellington, and Robert and Janet Stomberg of Enfield; her grandchildren, Jason Stomberg, Deb and Len Schneider, Susan and Rudy Virkler, Cathy Kloter, and Cindy and Ed Garrow; 11 great-grandchildren; her extended family, Michael and Margo Clark of Maryland; Maureen Reilly of Scituate, Mass.; Jackie Youngworth of Hingham, Mass.; Eileen Eagle of Middletown; Michael and Elena Reilly of Monroe; and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Russell, Everett, and Dwight Bantley.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the Ellington Congregational Church, 72 Main St., Ellington. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
