Edwin "Eddie" Cordero Jr., of Enfield, passed from his earthly journey at the age of 32 on Monday, June 3, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of four years to Erin M. (Hyer) Cordero. Edwin was born on Sept. 12, 1980, son of Edwin Sr. and Sophia (Rodriguez) Cordero. He was a graduate of East Windsor High School and furthered his education at Branford Hall Institute. An intelligent individual, he was a master of many trades. He enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, and was into fitness. Eddie loved animals and teaching others how to do things. He was a jokester and had a great love and compassion for his family.
Along with his wife and parents, Eddie is also survived by his siblings, Joseph Roman, Lisa Cordero, Emmanuel Cordero, Christina Cordero, Amanda Cordero, Kimberly Sulla, and Genesis Cordero; nieces, Jasmine, Liza, Drea, Madisyn, Sadie, Jaydinn, and Samantha; nephews, Cameron, Jaden, Damon, and Joey; paternal grandparents, Herberto and Inez Cordero; maternal grandmother, Amelia Rodriguez; Gram Roman; his mother-in-law, Joanne Wakelee; father-in-law, Harold Hyer III; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Hyer, Renee Oswell, and Crstal Stobaugh; brothers-in-law, Mathew Bovin, Justin Oswell, and Jose Canini; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Miguel Rodriguez.
Relatives and friends can call on his family on Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m. followed by a memorial and remembrance service the Rev. Pastor Barry Andrusik officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield.
Burial will take place in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Broad Brook on Monday, June 10, at 11 a.m.
