Emilienne (Domon) Bourque

Emilienne (Domon) Bourque, 65, of Manchester, wife of the late Alfred J. Bourque, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, surrounded by her family at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

She was born in St. Gerard Majella, Quebec, Canada, on July 29, 1948, daughter of the late Arthur and Yvette (Leriche) Domon. She was raised in Quebec, and has been a Manchester resident since 1977. Emily was a homemaker and took great pride in raising her family. She was a parishioner of St. James Church and also attended St. Bartholomew Church.

She is survived by two sons, Marc Bourque of Manchester, Michel Bourque, and his wife, Regina, of Hebron; two grandchildren, Owen and Riley; and numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews in Quebec, Canada.

Emily (Mimi) enjoyed her visits to the Manchester Senior Center, Saturday night bridge games, and meeting for morning coffee with her close friends. She loved and was loved by all who knew her.

A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at noon at St. Bartholomew Church, corner of East Middle Turnpike and Ludlow Road in Manchester. Burial will be at a later date in Quebec, Canada.

There are no calling hours.
