Glenna (Clark) Paire

Glenna (Clark) Paire, 82, of Vernon, beloved wife of Carl Paire, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.

Born in Presque Isle, Maine, the daughter of the late Lynwood and Alice (Sherwood) Clark, she lived in Keene, N.H., before moving to Vernon over 55 years ago. Prior to her retirement, Glenna was employed by Pioneer Parachute for many years. She was a member of the Hartford Full Gospel Church. Children were a very important part of her life.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Carl "Lenny" Paire Jr., and his wife, Stacy, of Littleton, N.H.; seven grandchildren, Todd, Craig, and Christopher Sherman, Heather Lee, and Nicholas, Craig and Scott Paire; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Annabella Lee; an "adopted" daughter and friend, Deborah Arnold, and her eight children; a sister-in-law, Eloise Clark of Keene, N.H.; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Karen Sherman, and her brother, Wendell Clark.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from noon to 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville.
