Jennie (Ferro) Coleman, of East Hartford, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Hartford, but eventually settled in East Hartford where she lived all her life. Jennie was an accountant. She loved working with many people and companies over the years, including a furniture store, an interior decorator, a book store, a trucking company, a sneaker store, just to name a few. She spoiled her grandson every chance she got and those who knew her well. She had many holiday parties at her house where the door was always open and no one ever left hungry.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roger W. Coleman; a daughter, Pamela B. Hatem and husband, Edward Hatem; her grandson, Zachary Hatem, who was her pride and joy and light of her life. She is also survived by a great-niece, Danielle Buckley; her children, Joshua Muller and Alissa Muller; a great-nephew, Shawn Pinto; as well as many nieces and nephews and friends. The closest to Jennie will always be thankful for her constant loving support and encouragement. Her motto of living with a positive attitude will forever be etched in their hearts.
