Lois (LaBonne) Hanlon, 85, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Edward J. Hanlon, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Vernon Manor.
She was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Waterbury, daughter of the late George T. and Alma (Carrier) LaBonne. Lois had lived most of her life in Manchester. She was a longtime member of St. Bridget Church in Manchester and retired from the former Heritage Savings and Loan.
She is survived by two sons, Edward T. Hanlon of Bolton, Kevin J. Hanlon, also of Bolton; two daughters, Kim A. (Hanlon) White, and her husband, Edward, of Portsmouth, R.I., Eileen J. Dumont of Manchester; dear friend Jenny Zaviskas of Sanford, Maine, who was like a daughter to her; eight grandchildren, Eddy White, and his wife, Rachael, Kacey White, Sara White, Michael Hanlon, Chelsea Hanlon, Joey Hanlon, Ali Hanlon, and Timmy Hanlon; two great-grandchildren, Justice White and EJ White. She was predeceased by her son, George T. Hanlon; her brother, George "Ted" LaBonne; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Peggy Kearney.
There are no calling hours.
A celebration of life Mass will be held Saturday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 80 Main St., Manchester.
