He was an avid gardener and loved sharing the bounty of his wonderful vegetable garden with family and friends. He was a NASCAR fan and spent many hours watching the races. He also got great pleasure from watching the many birds and animals that visited the beautiful and peaceful meadow in his backyard.

In addition to his wife of 62 years, Ina, he leaves his children, Sylvia Poole and her husband, George, Louis Bellefleur, Allen Bellefleur and his wife, Tara, and Susan Baker and her husband, Ben; two sisters, Sandra Messier and her husband, Bob, and Karolyn Farquhar and her husband, Danny. "Bapa" will be missed by five loving grandchildren, Tina Mastalerz, Michael Mastalerz and his wife, Stephanie, Brent Baker and his partner, Bobi-Lee Bomster, Benji Baker and Noelle Bellefleur; and three adoring great-grandchildren, Briyana and Braden Baker and Josie Mae Mastalerz; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 12, at 6 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. Burial will be private.
