Mary (Progana) DiRuzza

Mary (Progana) DiRuzza, of Manchester, loving wife for 60 years of Attorney Thomas DiRuzza, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at a local convalescent home after a brief illness.

Mary was born and raised in New Bedford, Mass., attended the Rhode Island School of Design, and had been a resident of Manchester since 1956. She was a homemaker, a longtime parishioner of St. Bridget Church, and an avid gardener.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a brother, John Progana of Kitty Hawk, N.C., and his family.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 70 Main St., Manchester. Burial will follow in the East Cemetery in Manchester.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Bridget Church Memorial Fund.
