Miriam Osborn Piper

Miriam Osborn Piper, 74, of Cape Cod and East Windsor, passed away early in the morning June 2, 2013.

Miriam was born on Jan. 16, 1939, to Donald and Sarah Osborn of East Windsor. After graduating High School in 1957 she married Theodore Wuskell, together they had three children. They moved to Cape Cod in 1972 where she started her career with Cape Cod Bank and Trust. She remarried in 1985 to James Piper. Miriam was an accomplished seamstress, knitter, and an excellent home decorator. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother and a friend to many.

Miriam was predeceased by her husband, James Piper; brothers, Donald and Ronald Osborn; nephews, Ronald and Donald Osborn; and niece, Sara Ann Loubier. She is survived by her children, Timothy Wuskell (Peggy) of Centerville, and their three children, Eric Wuskell of Bushnell, Fla., and Heidi Norris (Gregory) of Eastham, and their son, Jackson; her brother, Richard Osborn (Carol) of East Windsor; first husband, Theodore Wuskell of Bushnell, Fla.; five stepchildren and their families; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 15, at 10 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of East Windsor. Burial to follow at Scantic Cemetery.
