Paul A. Passalacqua

Paul A. Passalacqua, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest at the age of 87, on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Hartford Hospital.

He was born on March 13, 1925, in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, son of Joseph and Louise (Trapanese) Passalacqua. He had resided in California for 37 years and 13 years in Suffield before moving back to Enfield many years ago. Paul had been formerly employed as a mechanic and later in real estate sales in Lancaster, Calif., having retired in 1987. He was a former member of St. Patrick Church, Enfield.

Paul is survived by his wife, Ora M. (Dumais) Berrios; three sons, James, Paul, and Richard; several grandchildren; a sister, Sadie LaRussa of Enfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former wife, Helen, and two brothers, Vincent and Joseph Passalacqua.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, from 10 a.m. to noon followed by a memorial service with the Rev. Emilio Padelli officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at 1 p.m.
