Priscille Parent Davis died Sept. 10, 2013, at Vernon Manor, Vernon.
Born in Lille, Maine, on Jan. 30, 1931, Priscille was predeceased by her parents, Noel Parent and Blanche Corbin.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James F. Davis of South Windsor; two sons, James F. Davis Jr., and his companion, Elizabeth Styran, of South Windsor, and Frederick W. Davis IV of Bolton; two daughters, Ann Davis Buehner, and her husband, George, and their son, Adam Davis Buehner, of Ashburn, Va., and their daughter, Laura Buehner Patton and husband, Allen, of Athens, Ohio, and their two sons, Camden and Corbin, and Marie Davis Shuart and husband, Clifford, of Roswell, Ga., and their children, Nathan and Lindsay; six sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Noella Sirois of Van Buren, Maine, Paul Parent and wife, Delores, of Sarasota, Fla., Sister Emelda Parent D.W. of Sound Beach, N.Y., Arlene Learnard and husband, Richard, of Caribou, Maine, Richard Parent and wife, Priscilla, of Soco, Maine, Roger Parent and wife, Rolande, of South Bend, Ind., Normande Rossignol and husband, Philippe, of Van Buren, Maine, Dorothy Parent of Hartford, and Lorraine Verboys and husband, James, of Shenarock, N.Y.
She was a graduate of the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Portland, Maine, and St. Joseph's College, Standish, Maine. She worked as a registered nurse in Portland, Maine, Washington, D.C., Santa Monica, Calif., and the Hartford area before her retirement.
She is being cremated. There will be no calling hours or funeral.
There will be a memorial Mass and subsequent interment of ashes in Mount St. Benedict's Cemetery, Bloomfield, at a later date.
