Raissa (DaRos) Tripoli

Raissa (DaRos) Tripoli, 93, of Stafford Springs, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Blair Manor, Enfield.

She was born in Staffordville, daughter of the late Marino and Maria (Lazzaris) DaRos. Raissa was educated in the local schools. In her younger days, she worked at Schwanda's Button Factory, and later retired from the former Stafford Printers. Her hobbies included duckpin bowling, counted cross-stitch, sewing, and rug braiding. She was also a member of St. Edward Parish.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Salvatore "Sam" Tripoli; three children, David Tripoli, James Tripoli, and his wife, Nancy, and Anne Kaschuluk, and her husband, Michael; three grandchildren, Katherine Tripoli, Eric Tripoli, and his fiancée, Jennifer Marcos, and Ellen Kaschuluk; brother, Ronnie DaRos, and his wife, Esther; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Mike and Leo.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a funeral service to take place at 11 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home Inc., 51 E. Main St., Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Blair Manor, especially her aide, Ellen, for all of their support.
